Recently i've been trying my hand at ink instead of charcoal. I'm doing a few pieces for the Manchester Art Fair. 

Bulls have always been know as the sign of strength, vitality and vigour. I grew up on a  farm with a guard bull. Scary and fun memories of hide and seek. Sometimes, the things  that you are scared of are also the things you are attracted to- the morbid attraction. That is the story with the bull drawings.

I identify with the bull for its testosterone fuelled energy and the rawness. Charcoal is the perfect medium for bull drawings. The strokes are rough and full of energy similar to the bulls nature. I aim to make a life sized bull drawing in charcoal.
