My work explores flowers and nature as acts of memory rather than direct observation. Raised by my grandparents, I grew up in a home surrounded by a lush garden and orchard trees, where early experiences with nature left a lasting imprint. I often sat among the flowers beside my grandfather, who had lost his eyesight, quietly absorbing the atmosphere of the garden. I am entirely self-taught and work intuitively, without preliminary sketches or predetermined subjects. Each painting emerges spontaneously, guided by instinct and recollection, translating childhood impressions into imagined botanical forms.
