This watercolour on paper study was done in preparation for the rocky seascape series I have been doing. It was inspired at Rhossili Beach - The Gower Peninsula. There's something very reassuring about watching the cliffs/rocks unphased by the rough volatile sea. A bit like how life can be unpredictable, but you have to be as solid to manage things. I'm drawn to the water. I plan on painting the whole British coastline in the next 10-15 years.
