This painting is inspired by walks in the English countryside in the middle of summer. I love the dotted wild poppies and dasies in the green. I love the countryside. The depth of the scene interested me. Impressionism fascinates me these days so I guess there is some influence of that on this work. Natures has a calming effect on my senses so I do paint a lot of landscapes. I loved painting this.
