Oh this smell of the the earth
and the wet autumn leaves.
I don’t mind, if the sunshine leaves.
Crisp whiff of the wind and the
sight of colours on the trees.
My soul and my whole being
longs for this fresh hush of breeze.
This year I did a series on trees in spring, and now i'm doing the same in autumn. The vibrant colours of autumn combined on a canvas make for a wonderful bright scene that was fun to paint.
