There is something very humble and unassuming about this tree. The gentlest of breezes makes the whole mass of leaves swing into a walk, like someone beautiful. Watching that is just pure bliss. That is what I want to capture ultimately.
Nature and trees are magical. Why does it feel so good to hang beneath a tree, looking up at the leaves rustling with the wind? I am going to do a visual journal of the change of the colours of leaves from spring to autumn through paintings. For the first time this year I painted spring by painting light reflecting/refracting through tree branches and leaves and I am looking forward to the autumn for the same.
This 16 x 12 inch acrylic on canvas painting can be purchased with or without a frame - please note that the frame supplied is the black edge box frame. The other frame in this photo is for display purposes only. Limited edition prints are also available, and can be purchased with/without a frame.
