This drawing was inspired during my travels to Istanbul, Turkey. The Blue Mosque is over 400 years old, and the amazing structure is just as strong and remarkable as when it was first built. I wonder how many people have passed through its doors since it first opened. This sketch was done as part of a study for another of my artworks - Blue Mosque.
