When the world began "sheltering in" due to covid, many of us felt isolated and lonely living in a culture of uncertainty. Shabs found his refuge in taking strolls at the nearby Tatton Park in Cheshire, England. There was something comforting about looking into the vastness of the sky. A lone seagull with a view of the world, fee of human concerns - it became the inspiration for this painting.
