I was interviewed by Living Edge magazine a few months ago, and afterwards the editor asked if I would consider designing the front cover for the December issue. I was really honoured, and wanted to capture the theme of Christmas in my own unique style.
The artwork ‘Reindeer, 2021’ was completed on an iPad pro using Apple pencil. I often go for walks to Dunham Massey in Cheshire. Over winter, the national trust organise an amazing Christmas themed light show with huge installations of stags and reindeer. It’s a really fun, festive experience and it was the main inspiration for the December cover design. Living Edge offered a signed limited edition print of the 'Reindeer' artwork as a prize in their Winter edition (competition now closed).
